2010 InterConnect Conference
The first annual InterConnect Conference was held in Greenville, South Carolina on October 12-14, 2010. With the help of DataWorks Plus' staff and the user committee, the first conference was a smooth and successful event. We are looking forward to seeing even more of our customers in 2011! Thank you for your attendance and suggestions on what we can include in next year's conference.
Conference Recap
At the event, customers discussed their proven methods of successful product use, suggested ideas for product improvements, and conveyed their greatest needs for new product features. In-depth workshops were presented by experienced customers who demonstrated product functions and shared their experiences with the rest of the group. By allowing the end users themselves to demonstrate their most effective ways of using DataWorks Plus solutions, the attendees were given a new level of product insight that traditional product demonstrations could never provide. In between these workshops, attendees visited several product demonstration stations that were manned by DataWorks Plus' developers and engineers. There they could see live demos of DataWorks Plus' products and ask additional questions. Whether a customer wanted to focus on one of their agency's existing solutions or pursue a new type of technology for their agency, each attendee was guaranteed an insightful experience. Conference Events
The 2010 InterConnect Conference was more than just product demonstrations and workshops. It included two event options, Golfing in the Carolinas and a Taste of Greenville. The events gave attendees a chance to meet and interact with DataWorks Plus staff as well as other InterConnect members.
Greenville, SC has made the history books with its redevelopment of the Downtown area. Attendees learned what makes Greenville, SC an international community that still maintains the feel of a small southern hometown. Some activities that were included in this event:
Dinner & Tour of DataWorks Plus Headquarters
Wednesday, October 13 was the day customers got to see where all of our solutions are developed and built. After a tour of DataWorks Plus' headquarters, dinner was provided in the atrium and attendees had the opportunity to meet the rest of the DataWorks Plus family.
Cocktail Reception
A cocktail reception was held Thursday, October 14 prior to the closing ceremony. It was a fun time where attendees were able to unwind and talk with others about the events of the week.
Closing Ceremony & Banquet
A ceremony and banquet officially closed the InterConnect Conference on Thursday, October 14. A review of the week's events was given as well as information on what had been learned and how we will be improving and developing solutions that will meet the needs brought up during the conference.
