The DataWorks Plus Inmate Armband System provides a flexible, high
quality inmate wristband that can be customized to best suit your
facility. Armbands can be used for inmate tracking and inmate identification
and can include photographs for photo ID. Any combination of text,
images, bar codes, colors, and data can be produced on the armband
to achieve the desired layout and design. Wristband colors can be
assigned based on inmate classification to ensure that each inmate’s
identity and risk level are always available to your staff. Barcodes
can also be added so the inmates can be scanned at various locations
within the jail. The armbands are designed to stand up to the most
adverse conditions and have a tensile strength of 8,000-10,000 psi
to protect against stretching and tearing. They are also water resistant
and non-fading. In most cases, inmates can wear their armband for
up to two years before it will need to be replaced.
A case of armbands includes laminating sleeves, 1000 armbands,
and an ample supply of washers and rivets needed to secure the armbands
around the wrists of the detainee. Other products for purchase in
this system are a laminator, a rivet tool for securing armbands,
a trim, dye and hole-punch machine, and an armband photo die cutter.
